il y a rétrospective pendant l'été, ça doit commencer la semaine prochaine... j'essaierai peut-être d'en revoir certains sur grand écran.

Ah, je n'étais pas au courant, merci de me le signaler ! L'occasion de re-re-re-re-revoir les films de Kubrick...

Il suffit qu'on me passe des extraits pour que j'aie envie de revoir le film dans son intégralité...

il y a un demi mur dans les fnacs aussi pour les dvds... je ne sais pas si c'est dans tous les cinémas (un par semaine, pratique horaire unique 21h, très compatible avec l'absence de vacances) ?

Barry Lindon ? 2001 ? Shining peut-être... ça sera le maximum que je tenterai je crois.

Ah, c'est au cinéma...

Je croyais que c'était sur Arte...
Dans ce cas, peu de chances que ce soit programmé là où j'habite...

Je revois Full Metal Jacket du coin de l'œil ce qui est à la fois une mauvaise idée et à la fois permet de voir autrement les mouvements et les couleurs, une impression de plus loin quoi. Quelque chose de très mécanique et outrancier ce qui pourrait rapprocher d'une peinture (générique) qui surligne ou caricature un peu son sujet (sans être de la caricature) mais sans atteindre (pour moi) la même qualité ou la même acceptation dans la réalité (le naturel de voir ou regarder quelque chose). C'est donc assez contraint (comme le sens différent de la première, en profondeur, et de la deuxième partie en latéral) et comme figé. Quelque chose comme trop carton pâte de cinéma sans une abstraction théâtrale qui permettrait d'accéder à ce qui serait l'objet de ce cinéma.

Très très technique certainement, très pensé, très travaillé mais j'y reste réfractaire même si j'entrevois une façon de voir (c'est dire qu'on y est pas).

J'ai revu tout Kubrick dernièrement, sauf Lolita et Full metal jacket... tu me donnes envie d'y re-jeter un oeil. Le seul qui vraiment ne trouve pas grâce à mes yeux est Shining... mais pour le reste, je suis assez ensorcelée par l'atmosphère que chaque film arrive à instiller !

Shining? Mais c'est génial! Bartok, le grand méchant loup, Thésée contre le Minotaure, la rivalité oedipienne... Un de mes préférés.

Allez! Encore une dizaine de visions et tu commenceras à l'apprécier

J'ai le coffret de Kubrick Blu-Ray. Il me tarde de voir Spartacus. Pour le reste, Dr Strangelove, Eye wide shut, Orange mécanique et Shining trouvent grâce à mes yeux. Tous les films de Kubrick finissent par plaire à un public spécialisé. Pour ma part, je suis parfois rebuté par les longueurs indéfinissables et comme la musique m'échappe... faut dire que 2001 Space Odyssey, Barry Lyndon et Lolita rivalisent au chapitre du marathon, même si Lolita fait roadie.
